Our Produce department offers a wide array of fruits
and vegetables.We have a garden-fresh selection of organically grown produce and on a seasonal basis we are happy to
bring in harvest from local farmers. We pride ourselves in offering the freshest produce in town!

Bakery and Deli
Our
Deli has a delicious selection of freshly made salads, cold meats and cheeses, and an appetizing choice of daily lunch
specials. We specialize in Boars Head quality products.
Our chef Dan LaLiberte, works hard to provide our customers
with a variety of ready made meals in our grab and go case. In addition, our deli department offers an extensive
assortment of gourmet cheeses and spreads.
Our Bakery is always baking
something yummy! We offer freshly baked pies, cookies and breads. We also bring in delicious breads from Chaves Bakery
and Luigi's famous Canoli pies.
The Southbury Food Center Deli is known to be "the best deli
in town!"
Meat and Seafood:
At the Southbury Food Center we
offer the freshest cuts of meat with your satisfaction guaranteed. Our staff is always willing to honor any request to custom
cut any piece of meat.
Our fish Department recieves daily deliveries of fresh fish for the conscientious
customer.
We are proud to represent many companies such as Omaha Beef, Gulf Shrimp, Perdue and Bell &
Evans.
Dairy and Frozen Foods:
Our Dairy and Frozen Foods departments have both
expanded over the years with many new items each week! We have an impressive selection of yogurts, cage free organic
eggs and have recently added a new milk and yogurt supplier from Litchfield, Connecticut called Arethusa
Dairy Farm.
We guarentee the freshest dates and the highest quality products at The Friendly Store.
Grocery:
Our Grocery department is extensive with over 30,000
items to choose from. We offer every day staples for your growing family and also those hard to find speciality
items for the serious cook.
If our grocery department does NOT have the item you are looking for, all you
need to do is ask our friendly grocery manager Billy Hein and he will take very good care of you.
